Since our founding in 2007, we have been dedicated to creating high quality, customized electric boats that emulate the iconic style of the 1940′s wooden boat without the maintenance.

In early May 2009, we introduced our two models the Cabriolet and the Gatsby. Our team spent two years in research and development listening to what current and potential boat owners liked or disliked about their electric boat. The number one issue was the stability of the boat. American Beauty Boats are constructed with a flat bottom hull, which allows virtually no rocking as a person boards or exits the boat. Secondly, the ability to maneuver the boat was an issue. For American Beauty Boats the simplicity and response of the wheel and throttle is exactly like driving a car. Our boats steer as easy in reverse as they do moving forward. If anyone would like to experience the difference, we invite you to come and take a test drive yourself.

And lastly, people stated that all electric boats look very similar and they wanted something new, something that looked completely different.

Two years later, our CEO, Jeff Thomas, along with the American Beauty team provided exactly that. Every American Beauty is custom designed to meet each customers’ unique personality. There are no two boats alike. Customers choose from multiple wood-look finishes, upholstery fabrics and styles and an endless list of upgrade options.
